This new proposed development is simply too large for the site and the block.

NOT ON OAKHURST!

This block is one of the last untouched blocks in the City of Beverly Hills.

Why we cannot support this proposed project

►        The proposed development is too big for the block, as well as for its site. It replaces three 2-story 1930’s classic apartment buildings with one 4-story, 60 ‘ high condominium structure

►        The effects of traffic and parking have not been thoroughly considered

►        The area neighborhood will be losing 17 moderately priced apartments

that are desperately needed. The units rented for approximately $2000 per month in 2014

►        The replacement 26 condominium units are not financially affordable to the displaced tenants and are, projected to sell for a minimum  $1.5 million+ each

►        The Developer has offered no Community Benefits to the residents or the owners

►        The City of Los Angeles has been unresponsive to the needs of the residents of Beverly Hills, and failed to incorporate their requested mitigation measures
